The company has grown from four small firms :
LUNA -
   was esthablished in 1916 , and produced kerosene lamps
LAV -
  was esthablished in 1921 , and produced cutlery knives and cutters for the
    shoe industry.
ALPA -
  was esthablished in 1935 , and produced chrome-plated cutlery and knives
KORDUN -
  was esthablished in 1947 , and produced all types of machine saws, hand saws
  and cutters. Now it also produces a full range of well designed cutlery and
    tableware.
     
Since 1962 our company has had it's present locationin Karlovac ( 45 km from Zagreb ).
Former plants from the four different locations are now in one place. Since november 27. 1993 ,
KORDUN functions as a joint - stock company. Since July 01. 1999, we are organized as

KORDUN GRUPA has been in business since 1916 and has a well known reputation for high quality
products. In April 1998 DIN EN ISO certification was obtained, a mark of quality assurance.
Mostly privatized today, KORDUN GROUP is available for all types of cooperation : joint venture,
franchising, etc ., with knowledable specialists and excess plant capacity.
