Tools for mechanical
feed ( picture 2 ) |
| |
|
|
| These tools are recommendable to be used
where the feed of working piece is performed manually (for
example table cutter) due to better protection of workers.
Tools for manual feed are designed acc. to the following criterions: |
| |
| * with grip limitation and max. scraping
thickness 1,1 mm |
| * circular performance |
| * with limited space between two teeth
“S” |
| |
| Tools for manual feed are produced acc.
to the request. |
|
|
| They are expected to be used for performance
on machines with cramped working piece, and the feed is secured
with machine equipment (four-sided planer, double-sided profiler).
Tools for mechanical feed do not have limited performances. |

| Information for
order placement |
| |
| For quick and free performance of
technical process and delivery of tools it is necessary, during
order preparing, to state the following : |
| |
| |
| |
| * diameter x width x hole diameter
(picture 3) |
| * teeth number |
| * direction of spindle turning (picture
4) |
| * feed speed |
| * grove dimension (picture
5) |
| * tool production: tool steel, fast-cutting
steel or hard metal |
| |
| Material of working
piece |
| |
| * state whether it is soft wood,
hard wood, egzotic wood, plywood, hard or soft filaments, chip-board,
one-sided or double-sided panneled with foils or veneer or with
some other material |
| * state cutting direction with reference
to wood fibers (picture 6), cutting
direction with reference to feed as well as thickness of cutted
material. |
| |
| |
| |
| Profiles |
| |
| * during ordering of profiling tools,
if the standard profile is in question here, state its number, necessary
dimensions. But if the special profile is in question you have to
send sketch or sample of the profile. |
| |
| Manual instructions |
| |
| For long and correct work of tools
it is necessary to handle them carefully and to follow below stated
instructions: |
| * tools, which are made of HM, are
not to be placed on hard ground without protection in order to avoid
damages of cutting edges |
| * machine reception parts, spindle
and flange, must be clean and within permitted aberrations (picture
9) |
| * it is necessary to control wedges
and clamping elements and to exchange them in case of damage or
destruction |
| * before placing of tools on the
machine it is necessary to check out the cutting edges so that they
are not broken or destroyed |
| * max. number of tools turning must
be adjusted to the number of machine turnings – max. number
of turnings must not be exceeded, and the most economical number
of turnings is usually lower than max. number of turnings |

| |
| Basic technical concept |
| |
| Turning direction of cutter and
crusher |
| |
| * the right turning direction
of cutter and crusher is rotation in right screw direction looking
from the side on which the drive is placed (picture
10) |
|
* The left turning direction
of cutter and crusher is rotation in left screw direction looking
from the side on which the drive is placed (picture
11) |
| |
| |
| |
| Position of shaft and tools |
| |
| |
| |
| Position of larger diameter |
| |
| * it is important to
correctly set the position of larger diameter of profile tools or
position of forecutter with reference to turning direction : |
| |
| |
| |
| Minimum tool's diameter |
| |
| * minimum tool's diameter is defined
acc. to the diagram |
| |
| Tools with hole |
| |
| * all tools are made with hole opening
acc.to tol. H7 |
| |
| Cutting speed |
| |
| * besides known tool's diameter (D)
and number of turnings (n), cutting speed is calculated acc. to
formula: |
